Sandeep Bhagwati at Centre Pompidou, Paris

The IRCAM in Paris will host an international colloque on "Comment analyzer l'improvisation?"

Canada Research Chair Sandeep Bhagwati, a former fellow at this world famous research institution for computer music, will deliver a talk on "Layering Encapsulated Traditions in Comprovisation Scores for Large Ensembles."

He and his research assistant Navid Navab (a Concordia student in electroacoustic studies)  will stay on to work with a research team at the IRCAM on implementations of improvisation software for improvising musicians.
