The Fine Arts Reading Room is pleased to announce the April 1, 2011 launch of a new student-run website, Portfolio.
Portfolio
is a free, student-funded gallery designed so that Concordia
undergraduates can display their artwork online. Over time, Portfolio
will also become a Fine Arts online student archive. Each student's
account is active as long as they
are enrolled at Concordia and for two years following graduation.
After that time, although artists will retain all ownership and
copyright of their work, profiles become part of the Fine Arts archive.
Every
Fine Arts student is eligible to create a profile and upload as many as
15 projects, including images, videos, or audio clips of their work.
Each profile can include an artist statement, CV, as well as links and
tags relevant to their work.
