A Drummer's Dream film review

 
A review has been recently published in the National Post of Canadian-made documentary "A Drummer's Dream" featuring Montreal drummer extraordinaire and part-time Concordia faculty member, Nasyr Abdul Al-Khabyyr.

Nasyr Abdul Al-Khabyyr is a Drummer / Composer, born in Hull, Québec Canada. Nasyr studied at Berklee College of Music completing his Bachelor of Arts in Jazz composition and arranging. During his studies Nasyr received 3 Canada Council grants, The Buddy Riche Jazz Masters Award from Berklee & the Roy Haynes Scholarship also from Berklee as well as a Berklee tuition Scholarship.

The film, directed by Canadian John Walker, captures a rare and unique assembly of some of the greatest drummers in the world. Explosive talent, passion, humour and irresistible personality come together in a magical setting when seven diverse drummers create a profound and unforgettable experience.
