Concordia University graduate, with a BFA (specialization in Jazz Studies), Jason Selman has been awarded the Gloria Mitchell-Aleong Award by the Black Theatre Workshop.
The award is presented to an emerging artist between the ages of 20 and 35 who has demonstrated commitment and exceptional talent in the performing arts in Montreal.
Jason Selman has been performing in Montreal for ten years as a performance poet and musician.
