Prowess, power and purity: they've made Montreal pianist/singer/composer and part-time faculty member Steve Amirault one of the most accomplished musicians in Canada, and the
music scene has taken notice.
The Nova Scotia-born musician (piano/vocals) has released five celebrated CDs and performed around the world. With his new release,
One Existence, "pushing ahead with a striking mid-career transformation" (Peter Hum,
Ottawa Citizen), he explores his Acadian roots with a original bilingual repertoire that ranges from heart felt ballads to explosive modern jazz.
