The DOCAM (Documentation and Conservation of the Media Arts Heritage) International Research Alliance is organizing its 2010 DOCAM Summit.
On Friday, March 5, Dr. Ricardo Dal Farra, Chair of the Concordia Music Department, will deliver a presentation entitled
"Is it possible to change the way we will remember it? A journey between ethical concerns and practical strategies of preservation." DOCAM is an international research alliance initiated by The Daniel Langlois Foundation for Art, Science, and Technology. Its main objective is to develop new methodologies and tools to address the issues of preserving and documenting digital, technological, and electronic works of art.
