LETTINGO: The Music and Influence of Ornette Coleman

In the spirit of Ornette Coleman, jazz icon and instigator of the free jazz movement, Gary Schwartz and Suoni Per Il Popolo present LETTINGO: The Music and Influence of Ornette Coleman.

This dynamic project, which has played to sold out houses at Théâtre la Chapelle Scène Contemporaines, unites some of Montreal's most creative players. For this occasion, Gary Schwartz (guitar/effects) surrounds himself with Ron DiLauro (trumpet), Erik Hove (alto sax), Alex Côté (soprano/tenor saxes), Frank Lozano (tenor sax/bass clarinet), Jonathan Cayer (synthesizer), Josh Zubot (violin), David Ryshpan (keyboards), Nicolas Caloia (bass), Isaiah Ceccarelli (drums/percussion) and Claude Lavergne (drums/percussion). LETTINGO will play Ornette standards as well as Schwartz original compositions all of which come from other textural references. Everything changes.
