Crowley Arts Centre Gala honours Jeri Brown

 
JERI BROWN kicks off a season of entertainment in a fundraising performance gala with Las Vegas musical director WOODY WOODS & members of Orchestre 21 in a tribute to jazz legend Duke Ellington on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the new Crowley Arts Centre (formerly the KoSA Arts Centre). 

The night includes a spicy 'rhythm & blues' medley with her city slicker Montreal band - JB & the Suits along with performances by mentored artists - Patrick Lehman of Justin Time Records, Sabenita of Jongleur Productions, an adapted premiere of Jeri's new musical FATHOM!, film excerpts from Jeri's award winning film documentary Jeri Brown: The Spirit Comes Thru, and much more. 

Other participants in the night's events include current students and alumni - Evan Tighe, Sage Reynolds, Ben Henriques, Francis Mercier, Chris Tauchner, James Rhodes, Sabine Dieudonné, Patrick Lehman and Simon Sloutsker.

This season's spirited event announces the new partnership of Jeri Brown with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Don't miss Jeri or the opportunity to give generously to a worthy cause!

6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: VIP Cocktails

7:30 p.m.: Doors

8:00 p.m.: Concert

Tickets are $40 for regular admission, $25 for students and seniors, and tables of 10 are being sold at a reduced rate of $375!
