Department of Music Electroacoustic Studies program, this one day colloquium will focus on issues surrounding the marriage
between electroacoustics and the performing and media arts.

Event description:CLIEC 2011 topics
will include, among others, interdisciplinary collaboration, artistic and technological
innovation, comprovisation, human-machine interface, aural and visual
perception, laptop orchestras/ensembles, notation, preservation, stage
techniques, audience interaction, related education and pedagogy,
as well as social and cultural contexts.
Presenters include keynote speakers Bob Gluck and Neil Rolnick, Per
Bloland, Thomas Ciufo, Rebecca Danard, Mara Helmuth, David Ogborn,
Alyssa Lai, Stephanie Moore, David Rothenberg, Benjamin Schroeder,
Isabella Stefanescu, Klaus Engel, Miles Thorogood, and Alan Tormey.
The evening concert consists of performances by Neil Rolnick and Bob Gluck, Liselyn Adams (with Jérôme Delapierre, Navid Navab, and Pamela Reimer), Adam Basanta, Thomas Ciufo, Rebecca Danard and Mara Helmuth, and KimMin Kyu.
