Music courses are primarily given in the Refectory of Concordia's Loyola Campus. There are 20 practice rooms for vocal, keyboard, and jazz instrument teaching and practice needs, including dedicated drum facilities. Additional practice facilities are located nearby.
There are three medium-sized electroacoustics studios, three digital editing workstation studios and a multi-track and digital recording studio attached to the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall. The Vanier Library on the Loyola Campus contains music and recordings, and also handles the recordings of all the departmental concerts.
More than 100 concerts and presentation take place each year (along with numerous seminars and master classes) in the acoustically and visually spectacular Oscar Peterson Concert Hall. Seating 600 people, the Concert Hall continues to be the venue of presentation for students, faculty, internationally acclaimed jazz, classical and electroacoustics concerts, CBC broadcasts, and numerous CD recordings.
